Lash Extensions
We know you are ready for your lash extensions, but we want to help make sure your lashes are ready for you! Here are 7 things to note before your first lash appointment to ensure your lashes come out looking better than you could ever imagine.
1. COME TO YOUR APPOINTMENT WITH CLEAN LASHESFirst things first, come to your appointment with freshly cleaned lashes! We will do everything on our end to prep and prime those babies, but in order to get the best out of your extensions have them all cleaned!
2. CHILL ON THE CAFFEINE PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT
It is very important that you don’t drink too much coffee or caffeine before your appointment. If you do, this can cause your eyes to twitch and it makes it harder for your lash artist to attach an extension. Also, who wants to be all jittery during a lash nap?
3. BOOK YOUR FILLS AHEAD OF TIME
Everyone’s lashes grow differently. As your natural lashes grow out, your extensions will grow as well resulting in the extensions falling out with your natural lashes.
Don’t be alarmed, we naturally lose about 4 lashes a day without noticing! This is why we ALWAYS recommend fills every 2 – 3 weeks! To ensure your lashes stay full, it is important to make sure you are booking ahead of time.
4. LET THOSE BABIES DRY!
Avoid getting your lashes wet for 24 hours after your appointment. This will help your lashes last longer, as they have more time to dry! Starting the 2nd day, wash your lashes DAILY! Clean lashes are happy lashes. We always recommend getting our lash bath at your full set appointment!
5. PREPARE FOR HUMIDITY
Humidity has an effect on your lashes. Summer months will sometimes have fills coming sooner as the humidity will cause some early fall out. This is normal! Always reach out to your lash artist if you have any questions!
6. SERUM IS YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND
Lash Serum is AMAZING for keeping your natural lashes long and strong!
Try our “Longest Lashes Ever” Serum in stores now! You can use this with or without extensions to keep those natural lashes feeling strong and healthy!
7. AFTER CARE IS EVERYTHING
If lash extensions are applied correctly, they SHOULD NOT damage your natural lashes.
You must follow the aftercare given to you by your lash artist and take care of them at home. Washing daily, brushing daily, not picking, not wearing mascara, and being gentle with them! We want these babies to last!
