We have always abided by the most strict and highest level of sanitation practices and wanted to inform you of a few more that we have put in place. These are not state-mandated protocols and have been done in house on our own accord to make sure every single person walking through our doors, clients and staff alike, are protected to the fullest extent.
In addition to cleaning stations, wiping down beds with hospital-grade wipes, sanitizing tools, and all products, we have also implemented additional protocols:
- Cleaning all surfaces every 30 minutes.
- Implemented contactless check-in and check out allowing for a seamless experience and extremely limited contact. Download our app for more information.
- We are taking the temperature of both guests and clients at the door.
- There will be floor vinyls to help separate and space out guests accordingly. There will also be signage in the entrance that explains the new protocols for distancing, hand washing, disinfecting the waiting areas, etc.
- We have stopped using facial steamers to avoid the spread of any "shared" air.
- All team members are required to change gloves between every client and must wear a mask at all times. During your service, your Esthetician will be wearing a face shield for an added layer of protection.
- We reserve the right to refuse your service you have symptoms or have come into contact with COVID-19.
- Only customers that have appointments will be allowed in the salon, therefore no children or others will be able to wait in the waiting areas if they are not receiving a service. All clients will be asked to come in at their appointment start time, not earlier, and we will text them when their appointment is ready to begin. No guest will be allowed in until they receive a text that their appointment is ready.
- We will ask lash clients to wear face masks. If they arrive without a mask, we will have some disposable masks for them to use.
- All team members will be required to wear face masks and gloves during their shifts.
- The Salon Managers will monitor walk-throughs on the hour, focused on waiting areas and high traffic zones.
- We will be implementing a Sanitation Station where the coffee station was. There will be a touch-less hand sanitizer, Sterile Sheryl for purchase, and disposable masks for those who do not bring their own.
- We have replaced all HVAC filters and will continue to do so regularly.
- All stores have been deep cleaned and fogged prior to opening.

PREPARING FOR YOUR FACIAL
There is no need to wash your face before a facial- you can show up with your makeup still on since your esthetician will just remove it all during the makeup removal and cleansing portion of the facial! Cleansing occurs even if you come without makeup on, so arriving with makeup on won’t take away any time from the treatment!
It is not recommended you get a facial if any of the following applies:
Sunburned, windburned, irritated, or broken skin
Open wounds or active cold sores/fever blisters on the treatment area
Laser hair removal/electrolysis on the treatment area (within 2 days of treatment)
Botox, injectables / dermal fillers within one week of getting it done
Wait two weeks after eyebrow microblading
Wait two weeks after micro-needling and a chemical peel to get a facial treatment
Wait one month to get a facial if you received an IPL/photo facial treatment.
Please be sure to let your esthetician know if you are on Accutane/radiation/chemotherapy
NEW TO FACIALS?
We always want to be transparent with our customers! If you are not on a normal skin care regimen at home, there is a slim chance that any given facial could cause a breakout because of the deep cleansing and exfoliating of your skin. We strongly encourage implementing our skincare products into your everyday routine! Our estheticians are highly trained and knowledgeable on each skin type and what regimen would be best for each individual!
THE MEANING OF EFFECTIVE AND EFFICIENT FACIAL SERVICES
All of our services are efficient and effective, making it approachable for you to pop in for any given facial treatment. This is not your average spa. Our modern and open-air concept allows you to be in and out in just 45 minutes, we understand your time is valuable!
PREPARING FOR YOUR LASH APPOINTMENT
Please do not wear any makeup if you are coming in to receive lash services. The oil from the mascara can affect the retention (how long the lash extensions last) and actually make it tough on the lash stylist! For the best retention, do not wear mascara 24 hours prior to your appointment; there should be no oil residue by the time of your appointment.
LASH - SATISFACTION
We hope you absolutely love your lash service, but if you leave feeling unsatisfied please contact us WITHIN 3 DAYS and we will be happy to schedule a corrective lash appointment. The corrective appointment must be done within one week of your original appointment.
We do require a credit card when booking your appointment. You will not be charged at that time, it is simply to hold your appointment. You are free to use a different card when checking out. We are a cashless establishment!
We understand that life happens! If you need to adjust the time of your appointment, please call the location you’re booked at and we will try our best to accommodate!
NO SHOWS / CANCELLATIONS
We hold on to your appointment time just for you and ask that if you need to cancel or reschedule, you please provide us with 24 hours notice. We do charge 50% of the service to cover the time and opportunity cost for our estheticians if you cancel late or do not show up. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are running late for your appointment. We will provide the service for the remainder of your allotted service time or switch it to a mini facial.

FACIAL TREATMENT FAQ
When should I arrive for my appointment?
Please arrive 10 minutes before to make sure all of the forms are completed. Should you arrive late, we will make every effort to accommodate you during the remaining time of your scheduled appointment.
Where are you located?
Our Edina location is located in the Galleria, near the entrance by COV restaurant and Starbucks. Our North Loop location is located right off of Washington Ave, next to Crisp & Green.
Should I have my makeup off when I arrive?
Our facial services include a full cleansing, during which we will remove your makeup. You get to close those eyes, relax and let us take care of the rest!
What do I wear?
You can wear whatever you’d like. We will cover your clothes for protection!
Who will be giving me my facial?
One of our highly-trained Advanced Practitioner Estheticians will perform your facial!
What products do you guys use?
We use our own USA-made product line that we formulated with a Dermatologist. They are highly effective and made with natural ingredients. For certain treatments such as our peels, we use other products that are of superior quality.
How will I know which facial Enhancements are right for me?
Our estheticians offer a consultation prior to starting your facial. They will provide an in-depth Skin Analysis and guide you as to which facial Enhancements are best suited for your skin type and conditions!
Will my skin be red after?
After most of our facials, your skin will be glowing and healthy. If you have sensitive skin, it may appear a little pink afterward.
What facial should I get before my wedding or big event?
For the day of, we mainly suggest the Hydrafacial. If you want a normal facial treatment we suggest either Foundrié Glow or The Dermababe. We suggest these enhancements: Dermaplaning, Collagen Mask, Eye, and Lip Mask and the LED Treatment. We suggest getting peels 2 weeks prior to the event.
Why is it so important to have a regular facial, and how often should I have one?
It is very important to establish a skincare routine. We will work with you to help you develop a skin care program dependent upon your skin type, concerns, and goals. We can also suggest our highly-effective skincare products.
Are you wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Clients with special requirements are encouraged to advise staff prior to their facial so that we can accommodate accordingly.
What is the difference between the normal facial treatments and the Hydrafacials?
The Hydrafacial is done using our Hydrafacial Machine - whereas the facial treatments are done by hand just as a normal.
I have sensitive skin, can I get a facial?
Yes, absolutely. Our Estheticians will conduct a Skin Analysis and customize the products based on your skin type. You can’t go wrong with our Clean + Natural Facial. All of the products in this particular facial are natural. Even those with the most sensitive skin can use these products!
What is Lymphatic Drainage?
It helps to reduce swelling, decreases fluid retention and weight gain. It also helps with stress relief, aids in better sleep, circulates blood, eliminates toxins, detoxifies, good for acne, and improves skin’s appearance.
How do you sanitize?
We follow the latest and most effective disinfecting procedures here at FACE FOUNDRIÉ. Before every treatment, all tools and equipment are sanitized with hospital-grade disinfectant. During extractions, our Estheticians wear disposable gloves. We dispose of all porous tools used during the service.
Are extractions included in the facial?
You have the option to add extractions to ANY of our facials!
Can I wear makeup after my facial?
It is always great to let your skin breathe after our treatments, but we do include our Radiant Glow SPF.
What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 24-hour Cancellation Policy for individuals and a 72-hour Cancellation Policy for FACE PARTIES of 5 or more people. Please note that you will be charged 50% of the service to cover the time and opportunity cost for our estheticians if you do not notify us of your cancellation within those time frames. What is your product return policy?
If an adverse reaction occurs, please return your product within one week. All unopened products will be fully refunded- after 7 days you will receive store credit instead of a refund.
Why do you require a credit card?
We do this simply to secure your appointment and obey our cancellation policies. For security purposes, you may notice a $1 fee on your card, no need to worry- it will go right back onto your card within a few days. You are free to use a different card when checking out. We are a cashless establishment!
How do you guys deal with appointment changes?
We understand that life happens. If you need to adjust the time of your appointment, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us right away. We will try our best to accommodate. Note that if you make changes to your appointment within 24-hours, you will be charged a late-change fee of 50% of the service price.
Why are you a cashless establishment?
We went cashless for a few reasons: transactions are quicker and make for easy seamless checkout, we can track your purchases and send you loyalty points/ rewards and at the end of the day most cash is unsanitary as it's passed from hand to hand.

When will my membership billing be run each month?

Is it possible to freeze a membership if I were to be traveling that month?
Yes, be our guest! We don’t mind that at all. The freeze can be up to 3 months and for any reason with no cost to our clients.
Should I still tip my estheticians if I am a member?
Although tips are not required, our estheticians truly appreciate it!
What happens if I am late to my lash appointment?
We value your time as well as our esthetician's time. Your time that you’re late will be deducted from your monthly fill time.
What happens if I do not show up to my appointment or cancel within 24 hours?

Do I need to shave prior to my appointment?
If you would like to shave, do so at least one day before your appointment. Do not shave the day of as some treatments or ingredients may irritate freshly shaven skin. If you do not want to shave, that is totally fine too- We welcome any and all beards!
What skincare products are right for me?
We will curate a skincare regimen for your particular skin type.
Which facials can I choose from?
All of our facials are designed for women and men! Choose whichever one you’d like.
What is the “Eye Mask”?
It is a specially formulated eye pad that encourages and promotes de-puffing and relaxes deep lines and wrinkles around the eyes.
What is the “Lip Mask”?
Our lip mask perfectly hugs your lips and provides intense hydration. It smooths the dryness and plumps the pout!
What is “Dermaplaning”?
It is an effective and safe exfoliation treatment. It requires the use of a sterile, surgical scalpel to gently remove the top-most layer of dead skin along with the fine, vellus hair (aka peach fuzz). It boosts the effects of skincare products while making the skin look and feel smoother and also reducing the appearance of acne scars. It removes facial hair that can trap dirt and oils- making your makeup go on much smoother.
What is the the “Collagen Mask”?
It is a proprietary infused collagen mask originally created for burn victims. It plumps and smooths fine lines and wrinkles while giving a boost of collagen into the face and neck.
What is the “Customized Peel”?
Based on your skin concerns and what you are wanting to achieve out of your facial service, your esthetician will choose which peel is appropriate! This can be added to any facial treatment
What is the “LED treatment”?
LED Therapy (light therapy) helps boost collagen production and treats existing acne. It is painless and relaxing and helps plump the skin.

What contraindications are there for waxing?
You are not eligible for waxing if you are taking any of the following medications or have had any of the following services recently:

Do eyelash extensions hurt?
They should not hurt when applied correctly. It is important to go to a trusted Lash Artist who was certified and trained through a reputable course as this will ensure that they are applying the correct weight and length of lashes to your natural lashes. All of our lashers are very highly trained and skilled in the art of eyelash extensions!
Do they look fake?
We have all different lengths and thicknesses. We can customize whatever look you desire. From the most natural to Kim Kardashian lashes to everything in between!
How long do eyelash extensions last?
Our eyelash extensions adhesive has a bond time of anywhere from 4-8 weeks. However, they will only last as long as your natural lash does. Like all hair on the human body, your eyelashes grow in stages and we lose anywhere from 1-4 eyelashes a day. It also depends on how well they are taken care of by the individual. We recommend getting them filled every 2-4 weeks.
Do eyelash extensions cause damage to my natural lashes?
Eyelash extensions do not damage your natural lashes if they are applied correctly and done by a reputable lasher. If your lash stylist is using improper techniques, damage can occur. Here at FACE FOUNDRIÉ, our estheticians and lash stylists are highly trained and certified.
Can I wear mascara with my eyelash extensions?
Yes, however, we recommend an oil-free mascara so that it does not break down the adhesive. Eyelash extensions are meant to replace mascara, so it is our hope that you will not feel the need to put mascara on them!
Can I wear makeup with my eyelash extensions?
Yes, of course! Always keep in mind that oil-free products should become your go-to once you get eyelash extensions. We recommend using a daily cleanser with makeup remover that is safe for your lashes to remove residue at the end of the day. We have an oil-free makeup remover that we highly suggest to all of our eyelash extension clients.

How many people can get a facial at once?
We can do 5 facials at once in the facial bar. If you have more than that at your party, you are welcome to bring in food and drinks while you wait for each other!
What is the cancellation policy for FACE PARTIES?
A 72-hour notice in canceling FACE PARTIES is required. We require a credit card on file when booking these events.
What is the minimum for FACE PARTIES?
We require at least 5 people for group events.
What is Hydrafacial?
The Hydrafacial treatment is a non-invasive treatment that provides instant results for all skin types with no downtime. Hydrafacial is a (40 min) treatment that removes dead skin cells and extracts impurities while simultaneously delivering the skin with cleansing, hydrating and moisturizing serums. The treatment is soothing, refreshing, non-irritating, and immediately effective.
Is Hydrafacial treatment is designed for all skin types?
The Hydrafacial treatment is designed for all skin types. Even the most sensitive skin easily tolerates the Hydrafacial treatment. Your physician or skincare professional may choose specific treatment serums and/or customize the treatment for your unique skin conditions and needs.
How long does the treatment take?
Hydrafacial is a fast, efficient treatment that takes as little as 30 minutes.
Is there any downtime or pain involved?
You may put on makeup and return to your normal activities right after the treatment since there is no downtime.
What results may be expected?
Many clients report seeing visible skin refinement and an even, radiant skin tone after just one treatment. The smooth results and hydration may last 5 to 7 days or even longer.
How many treatments are needed to see results? How long do the results last?

First, check the tracking number included in your shipping notification email. When there are severe weather warnings, shipping is often delayed. If this is the case, the carrier does not reimburse shipping costs, therefore, we do not reimburse for severe weather delays.
